Business contracts in Georgia: What should you know?

Georgia businesses rely on contracts to establish obligations, reduce misunderstandings, and document important commercial relationships.
A well-prepared contract often addresses the scope of work, payment terms, responsibilities, deadlines, termination, and how disputes will be handled.
Not every agreement requires the same provisions. Georgia law also sets special rules for particular terms. Its Restrictive Covenants Act, for example, governs noncompete, nonsolicitation, and confidentiality covenants, and generally presumes a post-employment restriction of two years or less to be reasonable in time.
DocDraft helps you prepare a document that reflects your specific business arrangement, rather than relying solely on generic language.
