How to start an LLC in Georgia

Forming a Georgia LLC generally involves choosing an available business name, designating a registered agent with a registered office in Georgia, and filing Articles of Organization with the Corporations Division of the Georgia Secretary of State.

You'll also want to consider an operating agreement, annual registration, applicable tax obligations, required licenses, and other documents relevant to your business.

A Georgia LLC must file an annual registration with the Secretary of State each year between January 1 and April 1, beginning the year after it is formed.

DocDraft helps you organize the information and prepare relevant legal documents as you work through these decisions.
