How to start an LLC in Pennsylvania

Forming a Pennsylvania LLC generally involves choosing an available business name, naming a registered office in Pennsylvania or a commercial registered office provider, and filing a Certificate of Organization with the Pennsylvania Department of State.

You'll also want to consider an operating agreement, annual report filings, applicable tax obligations, required licenses, and other documents relevant to your business.

Pennsylvania LLCs must file an annual report with the Department of State each year, beginning the year after the LLC is formed, before October 1.

DocDraft helps you organize the information and prepare relevant legal documents as you work through these decisions.

Bring your draft. Ask your questions.

Some questions call for more than paperwork. Explore document review and consultation options with a licensed attorney.
